Prevailing is not about doing the ordinary but rather the extraordinary; not the norm but the abnormal; not the natural but supernatural.
Shek(h)inah, (Hebrew: שְׁכִינָה), is the English transliteration of a Hebrew noun meaning dwelling or settling and denotes the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God and his cosmic glory.
The Glory of God is who He is. GOD UNVEILS WHO HE IS BY WHAT HE DOES!
The Glory is not an "it". The Glory of God is the Presence of a Person, The Lord of Glory. The glory is meant to be imparted. We are ambassadors of glory and conduits of God's Glory.
Bob Sorge distinguishes between the glory and presence today by saying that “presence is subjective, Glory is objective”, meaning that all mankind together will see the glory (Isaiah 40:5), while experiencing the presence depends on the person’s spiritual tuning.
His glory seems to be identical with His presence, it is often used to mean the intense, tangible presence of God beyond the everyday experience. Ruth Ward Heflin (1990:133) defines the glory as “the REVELATION OF THE PRESENCE of God. It is the manifestation of His presence. He is glory.
HOLY SPIRIT - IS THE TRANSCENDENT; OMNIPRESENT LOCALIZABLE PRESENCE OF GOD'S PERSONALITY AND POWER LIVING IN AND DIVINELY EMPOWERING ALL OF GOD'S PEOPLE.
These are the days of GREATER GLORY. The manifest presence of God is "Shekinah" by nature; goodness, gracious, merciful, longsuffering.
Jacob was on the run and ran into God; Immanuel; Jesus (the angel manifest). Jacob didn't know the angel’s name. The LORD is going to show up in your experiences in unexpected ways.
Jacob wrestled and had a claim on God; "I won't let you go!!" Jacob actually laid a claim on THE WORD.
Jacob was blessed at the point of uncertainty of the one who bestowed the blessing. The prevailing presence of God presents the face of God as He is in that experience. I AM THAT I AM!!! TO SEE GOD IS DEATH TO A HUMAN BEING. However, there is a supernatural life that evolves out of death.
